Pastor William Kumuyi has received a major international honour. The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry was recognised by the World Book of Records, London.
The award celebrates his impact in education, humanitarian service and global faith outreach. The news has excited many Christians and supporters across different countries. Even with the recognition, Kumuyi says his mission remains the same.
The respected cleric shared the news on his official X page on Sunday. He thanked God for the honour and made it clear that the award would not change his focus.
“I received an Inclusion Letter from the World Book of Records, London, @ WBRLONDON. Humbled by this recognition, my focus remains unchanged: winning souls for Christ,” he wrote.
His post quickly attracted congratulatory messages from followers and admirers.Kumuyi also reflected on the impact of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK). According to him, the programme has touched millions of lives in the past five years. He wrote,
“Through five years of #GCK, God enabled us to reach over 50 million lives and see more than 900,900,000 saved. All glory to God alone!”
The figures have sparked conversations online, while many supporters praised the ministry’s global reach.
The inclusion letter, signed by World Book of Records CEO Santosh Shukla, placed Kumuyi in the Excellence (E1) category. The organisation said the category recognises people whose achievements create lasting impact in education, leadership, humanitarian service and society.
Kumuyi is the founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry. He also leads the Global Crusade with Kumuyi and serves as Chancellor of Anchor University, Lagos.
The latest recognition adds another milestone to his decades of influence in ministry, education and humanitarian work.
