Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been honoured as a Christian Youth Peace Ambassador by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
The recognition was presented during the National Christian Youth Security Summit and Thanksgiving in Abuja. YOWICAN highlighted Tinubu’s contributions to peace, youth development and national unity.
Tinubu was not present at the event. Instead, Ambassador Belusochukwu Enwere received the honour on his behalf.

In a message delivered at the event, Tinubu thanked YOWICAN for the recognition.
He described the honour as a call to greater service and responsibility. He also pledged to continue supporting initiatives that promote youth development, peace-building and national unity.
According to him, peace requires more than the absence of conflict. It also depends on justice, compassion, tolerance and mutual respect.
“Your commitment to empowering the next generation is both commendable and necessary at this important time in our nation’s journey,” he said.
Tinubu also praised YOWICAN for encouraging Christian youths to embrace responsible leadership and community development.
Tinubu calls for unity among Nigerian youths
Meanwhile, the President’s son urged young Nigerians to see the country’s religious, ethnic and cultural diversity as a strength rather than a source of division.
He called on youths to contribute to a more peaceful and united Nigeria. In addition, he pledged continued support for programmes focused on youth empowerment and peaceful coexistence.
“Together, let us choose peace, promote love and build a Nigeria where every young person can dream, contribute and prosper,” Tinubu said.
He also prayed for continued strength for YOWICAN and Christian youths across the country.
YOWICAN summit focuses on peace and security
The recognition came during the National Christian Youth Security Summit and Thanksgiving organised by YOWICAN.
The summit brought together Christian youth leaders and other stakeholders to discuss security, leadership, peaceful coexistence and national development.
Through the honour, YOWICAN recognised Tinubu’s role in supporting youth development and initiatives aimed at promoting peace among young Nigerians.
