Sheggz and Bella have officially gone their separate ways after years of dating. The former Big Brother Naija stars met on the show in 2022.
Sheggz Opens Up on Breakup
Sheggz Olusemo confirmed that his relationship with Bella Okagbue ended in January 2026. He also denied cheating on Bella during their relationship.
According to him, he stayed single after the breakup. He said he chose to speak now to protect his name and reputation.
“For clarity, I did not cheat on Bella, and I have been single since January 2026,” Sheggz stated.
The reality star also revealed that 2025 was a difficult year for him. He spent time in and out of the hospital before recovering in England.
After returning to Nigeria in October, Sheggz said he learned things that raised questions about his relationship.
Sheggz Says He Wanted Marriage
Sheggz said he loved Bella deeply and wanted their relationship to last. He revealed that he even bought a ring because he believed in their future.
“I genuinely wanted the relationship to work. I even went as far as purchasing a ring,” he said.
However, the couple could not rebuild their relationship after trying to reconcile. Sheggz said trust and respect became major issues for him.
He also stressed that marriage requires honesty, respect and good communication. Despite the breakup, he said he has no plans for a public fight.
“I want to move forward peacefully with dignity and respect for everyone involved,” he added.
Sheggz and Bella’s Relationship Timeline
Sheggz and Bella became one of the most talked-about couples from BBNaija Level Up. Their romance continued after leaving the reality show.
In 2023, they celebrated their first anniversary and shared sweet messages about their relationship. Bella admitted that their relationship was not perfect.
Still, she said their love helped them overcome their differences. Fans also looked forward to seeing the couple take their relationship to marriage.
However, breakup rumours followed them in 2024. Bella deleted their pictures from Instagram, causing fans to speculate about trouble.
She later dismissed the rumours, while Sheggz also denied claims about being with another woman.
Sheggz Wishes Bella Well
Sheggz’s latest statement appears to close the chapter on their relationship. He said he respects Bella and her family despite their differences.
He also described Bella as someone he once hoped to spend his life with. For now, Sheggz wants both of them to move on peacefully.
“I wish Bella nothing but the best in life,” he said.
“I hope we can all eventually move on with grace.”
