Nigerian actress and model Temi Otedola has shared why fans should not expect to see her future child on social media. Speaking on her podcast with her husband, Mr Eazi, Temi said becoming a public figure does not mean her child must also live in the spotlight.
She explained that although she has openly shared parts of her pregnancy journey, she wants motherhood to remain private. According to her, protecting her child is a personal decision and one she feels strongly about.
“I won’t post my child on the internet because he’s not part of my public brand. I am not going to integrate my child into my public life because they haven’t chosen to be public,” Temi said.
She added that her fame does not give her the right to expose her child to public attention or online scrutiny. Her comment has sparked conversations, with many people praising her decision to set clear boundaries between her career and family life.
The conversation also shifted to nepotism. Temi admitted that children from privileged families naturally enjoy opportunities others may not have.
“Nepotism is an unfair advantage to others; if our kid wants to be an artist we would get a producer and shoot his video for him. You will never catch me denying to be a Nepo baby,” she said.
Mr Eazi agreed and described himself as privileged. He explained that attending the best school in Ogun State gave him a strong foundation before chasing his music career. He added that he still has something to fall back on regardless of what happens.
The couple recently confirmed they are expecting their first child together. Temi has shared several sweet pregnancy moments, including how she discovered she was pregnant during their honeymoon in Japan and South Korea. She has also posted videos showing her family’s reactions and special moments with Mr Eazi.
Despite sharing those memories, Temi insists her child will remain off social media. For her, some parts of life are simply too precious to become public content.
