Mr P has dropped Part 5 of his video series, and it has stirred fresh reactions online. The former Psquare star made new allegations against his elder brother and ex-manager, Jude Okoye. However, the singer insisted he is not looking for public sympathy. Instead, he said he only wants people to hear his side of the story as the family dispute continues. Once again, the latest video has added another chapter to the long-running Okoye family drama.
Mr P allegedly claimed that Jude Okoye threatened to shoot him
According to Mr P, one of the biggest fights happened during a disagreement over a property in the United States. He claimed Jude threatened to shoot him after he questioned plans to sell the house.
The singer also alleged that he was later asked to sign documents. He said the papers would have transferred his ownership rights to Jude’s wife. Mr P refused to sign them.
Beyond that, he claimed Jude threatened his life several times over the years. He added that one incident was captured on video. Another, according to him, appeared in the letter that announced Psquare’s 2017 breakup.
Mr P makes more allegations against Jude
Mr P also cleared the air about Jude’s contribution to Psquare’s early success. He rejected claims that Jude invested in the group from the beginning. Instead, he said he, Paul, and Jude finished university around the same period. He claimed Jude had no job then.
According to the singer, only their eldest brother supported Psquare financially in those early days. He also made a cryptic statement, saying that brother is “somewhere” today because of Jude.
The video opened with a clip from the brothers’ famous 2015 confrontation. That footage later went viral after it surfaced publicly in 2017.
Psquare, made up of twins Peter and Paul Okoye, dominated the African music scene for over a decade. Although the duo reunited in 2021 after their 2017 split, they parted ways again in 2024 over fresh disagreements involving money and management.
With Part 5 now making the rounds online, many fans are waiting to see if Jude or Paul Okoye will finally respond.
