Socialite Tosin Akinbo has revealed how much strippers can make in Lagos nightlife.
According to him, stripping is among the highest-paying jobs in the city. He made the claim during an interactive session with TalkYourTalk Podcast. Akinbo also shared details about how strippers earn from club nights.
The socialite recalled an encounter with a stripper after a busy Sunday night. According to him, she was excited about the money she made from spraying. She reportedly told him,
“OMG, your Sunday night is so lit I literally earned ₦1 million from spraying.”
The revelation has sparked interest in the earning potential of Lagos strippers.
Meanwhile, Akinbo explained that clubs do not take a cut from money sprayed on strippers. He said the cash sprayed on them belongs entirely to the performers.
“No, anything sprayed on them belongs to them, not the club,” he said.
This means the money they receive from spraying is separate from their regular income.
Beyond the spraying money, Tosin Akinbo said some strippers also receive monthly salaries. However, this applies when they are exclusive to a particular club. His comments offer a glimpse into the business side of Lagos nightlife. They also show why some performers may consider stripping a lucrative job in the city.
