Nigerian music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has unfollowed his wife, Natasha Osawaru, on Instagram. The move came days after a reported clash between the couple at a nightclub opening in Abuja.
The reported incident happened on Friday at the launch of 90s Lounge. 2Baba was billed to perform at the event. According to reports, Natasha arrived with several men and approached the singer’s vehicle.
A commotion reportedly followed, leading police and security officers to step in. An eyewitness claimed Natasha wanted to speak with 2Baba. However, the viral video does not show what caused the confrontation.
Shortly after the incident, reports claimed 2Baba told Natasha he no longer wanted the relationship. By Sunday, checks showed he had unfollowed her on Instagram. Natasha, however, was still following the singer.
The development has now triggered fresh reactions online. Interestingly, 2Baba also refollowed his ex-wife, actress Annie Macaulay Idibia. Annie has since followed him back, according to checks on Monday.
The latest development comes about a year after 2Baba and Annie ended their 13-year marriage in January 2025. He later confirmed his relationship with Natasha, proposed in February and married her in a private traditional ceremony in July.
Still, 2Baba has repeatedly denied that Natasha caused his split from Annie. Neither 2Baba nor Natasha has addressed the reported nightclub clash or their Instagram activity.
Meanwhile, the renewed connection between 2Baba and Annie has sparked plenty of online speculation.
