Seyi Tinubu has come out on IG to clear the air on the ongoing online drama between VDM and King Mitchy.
However, Seyi Tinubu went ahead to say that VDM has been looking for an opportunity to attack him.
Moving forward, Below were his words…
Seyi Tinubu Speaks
Let me set the record straight: the claims and rumors about me are completely false
I met Mitchy just once, in a public setting, with other people present. During that meeting, I offered financial support for her NGO’s activities—just as I’ve supported many young Nigerians and organizations working to uplift our communities.
We had planned a follow-up meeting to discuss the impact of her NGO’s work after my donation. However, that meeting didn’t happen because I’ve been unwell.
There has never been any private meeting, secret deal, or inappropriate behavior of any kind.
What’s troubling is how a feud I didn’t start — and have no involvement in—has twisted to drag my name into baseless accusations. For reasons only he knows, VDM seems to have been waiting for an excuse to attack me and damage my reputation. He’s now using this situation to do just that. I won’t stand for it.
If my name draws attention, let’s at least stick to the facts.

Also he went on to say…. Supporting charitable causes isn’t a crime. Meeting someone publicly to back their NGO isn’t a scandal. And repeating lies over and over doesn’t make them true.
I refuse to be bully or to panic over false stories. I’ve faced bullying before, so I know how harmful it can be. That’s why I stand firmly against it. What we’re seeing online—especially the rise in attacks that many say are affecting mental health—is unacceptable. No disagreement should ever turn into harassment that endangers someone’s wellbeing or safety.
Philanthropy and outreach should never turned into political weapons. For over a decade, through my foundation and personal efforts, I’ve supported projects in education, health, youth empowerment, and more. My work is transparent, well-documented, and rooted in service.
To those stirring up drama: Nigeria needs builders, not bullies. We need meaningful conversations, not baseless speculation and sensationalism.
