NSUK produces 82 first-class graduates

Nasarawa State University, Keffi has recorded 82 first-class graduates as preparations intensify for its upcoming combined convocation ceremony, which will see over 25,000 students graduate.

The figure highlights a significant academic achievement for the institution, reflecting improved performance across multiple faculties. The combined convocation will include graduands from several academic sessions. A practice adopted by many Nigerian universities to clear backlogs and streamline ceremonies.

The university, established in 2001, has continued to expand its academic offerings and student population. Making it one of the fastest-growing state universities in North Central Nigeria.

University officials say the event will bring together undergraduate and postgraduate students, alongside the conferment of honorary degrees and awards. Large-scale convocations like this are not new to the institution—in 2023. The university graduated over 7,600 students in a single ceremony.
