Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has unveiled a luxury “Signature Home” developed by nightlife entrepreneur Obi Cubana in Asaba, marking a major milestone in the Cubana Millennium City project.
The unveiling took place during Obi Cubana’s 51st birthday celebration and attracted top dignitaries, investors, and industry leaders, underscoring the growing importance of the project in Delta’s urban development plans.
Speaking at the event, Oborevwori described the development as more than just a housing project, calling it a “new economic ecosystem” capable of transforming Asaba into a key commercial hub in the South-South and South-East regions.
The Signature Home serves as a model for the larger Cubana Millennium City—an ambitious mixed-use development designed to combine luxury residences, commercial spaces, and lifestyle amenities in a modern, master-planned environment.
Project Set to Drive Investment and Economic Growth
Officials say the project is strategically located near major transport routes, including the Asaba Airport corridor, making it attractive to investors and residents seeking premium real estate opportunities.
Obi Cubana noted that the development is aimed at creating a world-class city where people can live, work, and invest, adding that it reflects a long-term vision for economic growth and urban transformation.
The Delta State government also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting private sector investments that align with its goals of job creation, infrastructure development, and economic expansion.
Analysts say projects like Cubana Millennium City could significantly boost real estate value, attract new businesses, and position Asaba as a rising urban centre competing with other major Nigerian cities.
As Nigeria’s real estate sector continues to grow, the unveiling signals increasing collaboration between government and private investors—setting the stage for large-scale developments that could reshape regional economies and redefine modern urban living.
