Kwankwanso hosts Obi, Dickson ahead of NDC convention

Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State, has hosted Peter Obi, former Labour Party presidential candidate, and Seriake Dickson, national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC), at his Abuja residence.

The former Kano governor welcomed Obi and Dickson ahead of the NDC inaugural national convention, which is slated to hold on Saturday at the Los Angeles mall, Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja.

In a video circulating online, Kwankwaso was seen with his hands clocked in Obi’s while introducing him to some stakeholders in Kwankwasiyya cap, the signature red cap of supporters of the ex-Kano governor.

Obi and Kwankwaso had defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the NDC, citing internal wrangling within the ADC.

The duo is expected to fly the NDC presidential and vice presidential flags in the 2027 general election.
