TechNexus, NDDC announce 2026 tech expo in Port Harcourt
TechNexus Limited has partnered with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to host the Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2026.
The organisers announced the event on Wednesday.
They set the theme as “Syntropy.”
The expo will run for two days.
It will hold on June 11 and June 12, 2026.
The venue is the EUI Events Center in Port Harcourt.
Event to attract innovators, investors, and policymakers
Organisers said the expo will gather key players across the tech ecosystem.
These include entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, developers, and creatives.
They also expect participants from the Niger Delta and other regions.
The diaspora community will also take part.
The programme will feature exhibitions and product showcases.
It will also include panel discussions and startup pitch sessions.
In addition, participants will engage in networking events.
Focus on collaboration and regional growth
Managing Director of TechNexus, Belema George, said the expo will support tech-driven development in the region.
He explained that the theme “Syntropy” reflects constructive synergy.
According to him, collaboration among innovators and investors can speed up development.
He said the partnership with NDDC aligns with its development mandate.
The commission aims to promote innovation and investment in the Niger Delta.
Private sector support builds momentum
George also noted growing private sector interest in the initiative.
Financial institutions, telecom firms, and energy companies have backed the event.
He said the goal is to position the Niger Delta as a technology hub.
The expo will also help startups access funding, mentorship, and markets.
Organisers describe expo as a movement
George described the event as more than a conference.
He said it represents a shift toward innovation-driven growth in the region.
“The Port Harcourt Tech Expo is our declaration that the Niger Delta is open for innovation,” he said.
He added that the platform will connect talent with opportunity.
According to him, “Syntropy is not just an event, it is the beginning of a movement.”
