US Strikes Iran for Seventh Straight Night as Crisis Deepens

The conflict intensified as the US and Iran exchanged fresh attacks across the Middle East.

The United States launched strikes on Iran for the seventh consecutive night, targeting military surveillance sites, logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities and maritime assets, according to US Central Command (Centcom).

Iran said it retaliated by attacking US allies, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Syria. Kuwait’s military reported intercepting hostile missiles and drones, while Jordan said it shot down 10 Iranian missiles that entered its airspace. No major damage was reported in Jordan.

The latest escalation has further disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global energy route responsible for transporting about one-fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas supplies.

Iranian media also reported explosions near Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island and Yazd. Meanwhile, local authorities said seven people were killed after strikes in Hormozgan province. The US denied targeting civilian infrastructure, insisting its operations focused only on military objectives.

The US campaign has now entered its second week, with rising tensions continuing to threaten regional stability and energy markets.
