Tinubu commends security agencies for securing the release of 100 Papiri Catholic School students in Niger State. The President said the news brought relief to families and the nation.
However, he also directed security forces to continue their work. Tinubu ordered them to rescue the remaining 115 students and teachers still held hostage. He assured parents that both the federal and state governments are working together to reunite families.
President Reassures Citizens and Parents
Tinubu said he received briefings on the rescue operation. He noted that security agencies have worked consistently since the incident on November 21. The President stated that the government remains committed to rescuing all abducted Nigerians.
Moreover, he emphasised that schools must be safe. According to him, children should study without fear. He promised stronger protection and better security structures.

Furthermore, Tinubu said kidnappings must stop. He insisted that security forces must prevent attacks on schools. “Our children should no longer be sitting ducks for heartless terrorists,” he said.
He added that his directive remains clear. All victims must be rescued and reunited with their families.
