Around 30 AI robots marched through Warsaw, Poland, on Monday. They waved flags and ‘chanted’ slogans about protecting human jobs. The robots gathered outside the Ministry of Digital Affairs. They demanded stronger rules for artificial intelligence and robotisation. Their unusual protest quickly grabbed public attention. After all, robots had stepped onto the streets to discuss their own impact on workers.
Democratism organised the protest to spark a wider debate about AI. The group wants people to discuss how robots could change the labour market. It also wants leaders to consider the future of human workers. During the march, the robots carried flags and moved in circles. Some robots also ‘chanted’ slogans linked to the cause. Their actions showed that AI has moved beyond science fiction.
One robot, Agibot A3, introduced itself during the protest. Delta Robots operates the humanoid machine. It explained the real reason behind the demonstration.
“My name is Agibot A3, and I am a humanoid robot operated by Delta Robots. I am not protesting because democratism is not a movement against robots or artificial intelligence. The robots here are meant to demonstrate that this technology is already a reality.”
Meanwhile, organiser Grzegorz Kulis urged people to take the issue seriously.
“As people who work with this every day and are immersed in these technologies, we feel the pace of change a little more than our fellow citizens, and we feel obligated to inform everyone. We may soon have a problem, and we need to start talking about it.”
The Warsaw protest has now added a fresh twist to the AI debate. As companies adopt more AI tools, workers face growing questions about job security. For many people, that conversation can no longer wait.
