The celebrity designer’s wife shared a touching tribute on Instagram. She spoke about the strong friendship between Yomi Casual and the late actor. According to her, Alexx often visited Yomi for fittings whenever a new outfit was ready. Their friendship went beyond fashion and was built on years of trust and brotherhood.
She revealed that a few days before Alexx’s passing, Yomi informed him that a suit was ready. Sadly, he never got a response. What followed became one of the most painful moments of the designer’s life. Instead of welcoming his friend for a fitting, Yomi had to take the suit to the funeral home.
In her emotional message, she explained that Yomi personally ensured Alexx looked his best for his final journey. Despite the grief, he remained committed to giving his friend a dignified farewell. She described the experience as the most difficult job he has ever done.
The fashion designer’s wife also praised his strength during the past month. She noted that the last week had been especially tough for him. Still, he made sure every detail was perfect. According to her, Alexx would have been proud of the effort and love that went into dressing him one last time
