Former Big Brother Naija housemates Khafi Kareem and Gedoni Ekpata are celebrating six years of marriage.
The couple marked their wedding anniversary with heartfelt messages and reflections on their journey together. Khafi shared her message on Friday via Instagram, where she celebrated her husband and their growing family.
In her post, Khafi thanked God for guiding their marriage through different seasons. She also admitted that marriage has brought both beautiful and difficult moments.
“We have loved, we have fought, we have laughed, we have cried and most of all we have tried!” she wrote.
Khafi added that she felt grateful for how God had shaped their relationship.
Meanwhile, the reality star said marriage requires humility, growth and constant effort from both partners. She also praised Gedoni for making their journey easier.
“I do think I have been blessed in who I get to be married to as lover you really do make it easy,” she wrote.
She described her husband as tolerant, patient and a blessing to their family.
Khafi also thanked Gedoni for his love, patience and commitment to their family. She prayed that their sixth anniversary would become the first of 100 years together.
“Happy anniversary my love, I love you!” she concluded.
Khafi and Gedoni met during the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija. They started dating during the reality show before getting married and building a family together.
