Charles Okocha is not slowing down after his latest boxing victory. The Nollywood actor has now challenged skit maker Carter Efe to a celebrity boxing match. Speaking after defeating Portable, Charles confidently declared that he is ready for another fight. According to him, Carter is his next target. He said,
“Let me encounter Carter Efe; I want to beat the living hell out of him. I am not scared; bring it on.”
The challenge came shortly after Charles defeated Portable in their boxing rematch at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos. Portable broke the rules by using wrestling moves instead of throwing punches. He also walked out of the ring before the fight ended. As a result, officials disqualified him and awarded the victory to Charles Okocha. The win marked a sweet comeback after Portable defeated Charles in their first celebrity boxing match in 2023 at Landmark Beach, Lagos.
Meanwhile, Carter Efe already has his own history with Portable. In May, the comedian defeated the singer in another celebrity boxing showdown. The victory earned him the celebrity boxing title and a ₦50 million cash reward from businessman E-Money. He also received other gifts, including a German visa. The win quickly became one of the biggest entertainment moments online.
After celebrating his victory, Carter Efe joined Davido and his crew for a night out. Videos from the party showed Davido warmly hugging the comedian. Another clip captured Carter proudly showing off his championship belt while everyone celebrated. Now, with Charles Okocha publicly calling him out, fans are already waiting to see if Carter Efe will accept the challenge.
If the fight happens, it could become another major celebrity boxing event in Nigeria.
