Luxury love story reaches a new chapter
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are reportedly ready to say “I do” this weekend. Reports claim the couple will exchange vows on Saturday, August 8, in Funchal, Madeira, the Portuguese island where Ronaldo grew up.
According to reports, the ceremony will take place in a cathedral in Funchal. Afterward, guests are expected to celebrate at the luxurious Savoy Palace hotel. A source revealed, “Guests at the hotel have been informed that two floors will be unavailable on Friday and Saturday, along with several bar areas.”
The pair first met in Madrid in 2016. At the time, Ronaldo played for Real Madrid, while Georgina worked at a Gucci store. Since then, they have built a family together and announced their engagement in August 2025.
A lifestyle filled with luxury
Ronaldo and Georgina have never hidden their taste for luxury. One of their biggest highlights is a Bugatti Centodieci, reportedly worth about £9.5 million.
Their watch collection is equally impressive. Ronaldo reportedly owns a Patek Philippe worth around £500,000. Georgina also wears a Patek Philippe valued at about £325,000.
Meanwhile, her engagement ring reportedly costs around £4.5 million. Ronaldo has also gifted her a Porsche Taycan, an Audemars Piguet watch, designer handbags, and luxury clothing worth thousands of pounds.
Billionaire lifestyle and star-studded guest list
Bloomberg estimates Ronaldo’s net worth at about £1.2 billion. Beyond cars and fashion, the football icon reportedly owns two luxury villas on the exclusive island of Nujuma in the Red Sea.
The guest list has not been confirmed. However, reports suggest famous names like Rio Ferdinand, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Vin Diesel, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Drake and Travis Scott could attend the celebration.
Earlier wedding rumours dismissed
Before now, reports claimed the couple would marry in Sintra, Portugal, on August 1. That rumour was later dismissed.
Now, all attention is on Madeira as fans eagerly wait to see if Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez will finally make their long-awaited fairytale wedding official.
