Three Kaduna State Vigilance Service members have been killed during a late-night gun battle with suspected armed robbers along the Zuntu-Zaria Road.
Three members of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service, known as Kadvis, have been killed in an attack in Kubau LGA. The incident happened around 12:20am on Monday while the vigilantes were conducting stop-and-search operations along the Zuntu-Zaria Road.
The officials had reportedly mounted a checkpoint when a red Gulf vehicle approached at high speed and refused to stop. The vigilantes pursued the vehicle in their patrol car.
