King Harris arrested for drug possession during Georgia traffic stop

American rapper King Harris, son of T.I. and Tiny Harris, was arrested over the weekend during a traffic stop in Georgia. Police pulled him over for speeding, claiming he was driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

During the stop, officers reportedly spotted a firearm in his vehicle and asked him to step out. However, King Harris allegedly refused, which led to his arrest.

Authorities also said they found a vape pen containing THC in the car. As a result, Harris faces charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor for obstructing law enforcement. He was also cited for speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.

The rapper seemed unbothered by the incident, sharing images on social media of himself wearing a Pikachu onesie during the stop and joking about the arrest. He later posted more updates after being taken into custody.

This isn’t Harris’s first legal trouble. Back in 2024, he was arrested after another traffic stop where police said he nearly hit a patrol car. That incident revealed he had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
