Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has weighed in on the controversy involving TikToker Audrey Cyril and her fiancé, Mr Presh.
Audrey’s relationship has faced allegations of infidelity in recent days. However, Sarah believes the accusations should not stop the couple from getting married.
In a video shared online, Sarah said she would still go ahead with the wedding if she were Audrey. She added one major condition:
“If I were Audrey, I would go ahead with the marriage, not because he is perfect, but at least he is not gay.”
According to the actress, none of the women accusing Mr Presh of cheating claimed he had relationships with other men. Sarah therefore considers that distinction important when judging the situation.
She also argued that no man is perfect. In her view, cheating allegations involving women do not automatically mean a marriage cannot work. However, she described involvement with another man as a bigger form of betrayal.
Meanwhile, Sarah used the experience of a close friend to support her argument. She explained that her friend faced a similar situation but still chose marriage.
For Sarah, the controversy should not automatically end Audrey’s relationship. She believes Audrey should consider the full situation before making such a major decision.
