Igho Ubiribo Dies At 43

British-Nigerian influencer and businessman Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has died at 43 after a penis enlargement procedure went wrong in Thailand. The luxury lifestyle influencer was reportedly on holiday in Bangkok with his wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen, when the tragedy happened.

According to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Ubiribo had 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis at an unnamed Thai clinic in March. After the procedure, he and his wife went for a massage. However, Ubiribo soon complained of chest pain and fainted twice.

Procedure Linked To Fatal Pulmonary Embolism

An ambulance took Ubiribo to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially conscious. His wife informed doctors about the cosmetic procedure, but he lost consciousness before a suggested CT scan could take place.

Doctors later determined that Ubiribo had suffered a pulmonary embolism, which occurs when a blood vessel in the lungs becomes blocked. He was moved to intensive care, where medical staff performed CPR for more than 100 minutes. Sadly, he died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

A UK postmortem later found cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Dr Thongchai Chansirirattingkul of Sukhumvit Hospital said,

“He had had two cases of syncope (fainting) earlier, when he was having a massage. He had had 40 milliliters of penile filler injections earlier that day.”

Influencer Remembered For Lavish Lifestyle

Ubiribo had more than 100,000 Instagram followers and was known for showcasing a lavish lifestyle. He reportedly owned a $1.1 million home in Los Angeles’ Crenshaw neighbourhood and a $600,000 apartment in London.

He and Danielle tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022. Following his death, Ubiribo was buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly worth more than $745,000.

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido was among the guests at his funeral, alongside celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest and Pastor Tobi Adegboyega. Remembering his childhood friend, Davido said,

“I won’t lie, it is not easy when someone like Tiny leaves. His absence is heavy; it doesn’t feel real.”

Penile Fillers Can Carry Serious Risks

The incident has also drawn attention to the possible dangers of penile filler procedures. Hyaluronic acid penis fillers can cost up to $9,000 and typically last between six and nine months.

Experts have warned that such cosmetic procedures can cause serious complications. Ubiribo’s London-based doctor also revealed that he had previously undergone joint surgery, was pre-diabetic and suffered from gout. However, he reportedly had no other major medical issues before the procedure.
