Gbemi, the new partner of popular hypeman Fisayo Olagunju, aka MC Fish, has sparked marriage talk online. She shared loved-up photos of the couple kissing on Instagram.
In the post, Gbemi described marriage as sweet and questioned why people focus on its negative side. She also told MC Fish that he was not going anywhere.

Gbemi also joked about how much people promote the bad side of marriage.
“So marriage sweet like this, na only the bad side Una go dey promote,” she added.

The relationship has attracted attention since photos and videos of the pair surfaced online earlier this year. Some social media users criticised their relationship, but Gbemi later addressed the backlash. She insisted that she did not wreck MC Fish’s marriage because he was single when they met. According to her, they both had past relationships where they felt unappreciated. Finding each other, she said, became something beautiful.
MC Fish was previously married to Nollywood actress Anita Joseph. Joseph confirmed their separation in December, saying she was going through a period of reflection, pain and healing. Meanwhile, MC Fish has spoken about his failed marriage and said he does not regret marrying at 27. In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, he said he felt happy and respected at the time. He also said the experience taught him that honesty remains important in every relationship.
