Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal has issued a cease-and-desist notice to Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo and over 100 others. The notice accuses the recipients of alleged defamation and cyberbullying. It also demands the removal of content that the actress considers harmful to her reputation.
According to the legal notices dated October 3, 2026, Anjorin’s lawyers issued the demands on her behalf. The legal team includes A.U. Enahoro, Bayo Akinlade and A.U.E. Ogboi. They want the recipients to remove the allegedly defamatory content immediately. Additionally, they demand a public retraction and an apology within seven days.
Meanwhile, the actress is demanding ₦50 million in damages from each affected individual and platform if they fail to comply. Her legal team alleges that some bloggers and social media personalities published false and malicious claims about Anjorin, her family and her businesses. According to the lawyers, the alleged publications aim to attract traffic and generate revenue on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Furthermore, Anjorin’s lawyers accuse some recipients of making unproven criminal allegations against their client during live broadcasts. They claim the allegations lack supporting police reports or court judgments. The notice seeks to address these alleged actions through legal demands.
However, the allegations remain claims made by Anjorin’s legal team, and the notice does not establish that any recipient committed defamation or cyberbullying.
