Interpol Names Ukrainian Woman as Main Suspect in Monaco Parcel Bomb Attack

Interpol has launched a global manhunt after identifying a Ukrainian woman as the main suspect in the Monaco parcel bomb attack.

The investigation has identified 39-year-old Anastasiia Berezovska as the prime suspect. Authorities say she allegedly disguised herself as a man before leaving an explosive package at the entrance of a residential building in Monaco, where it detonated and seriously injured three people.

Monaco prosecutors said Berezovska is wanted for attempted murder, criminal conspiracy and placing an explosive device in a public place. Investigators believe she may have acted with accomplices. An Interpol Red Notice has been issued after police traced her suspected escape route through Italy to Germany, where authorities have searched an apartment and seized a vehicle linked to the case.

The Monaco parcel bomb attack happened on Monday evening as three residents, including a 13-year-old, entered the building. Local reports say the intended target was sanctioned Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev, though Monaco authorities have not officially confirmed the victims’ identities.

Investigators are continuing to search for the suspect and any possible accomplices as the international investigation expands.
