Nollywood actress Priscilla Ojo has scored a major legal victory against fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin. The victory follows months of social media drama involving their families.
On Wednesday, September 2, the Lagos State High Court granted an interim order against Lizzy. Justice Y.A. Adesanya issued the order after Priscilla, her husband Juma Jux, and their son, Rakeem Mkambala, filed an application. The court stopped Lizzy from publishing, posting, sharing, uploading, or broadcasting photos of their son online.
The court also restricted Lizzy and her representatives from publishing editorials about Priscilla and her family. The restriction covers the social media platforms listed in the court order. Priscilla later shared screenshots of the order on her social media page.
How It All Started
This comes after repeated attacks and allegations from Lizzy. The development has now given Priscilla a major win in their ongoing dispute.
The drama recently escalated after Lizzy criticised Iyabo Ojo for attending Soso Soberekon’s wedding with Priscilla. She claimed Iyabo was broke and poor. Priscilla fired back, saying she would not attend an event where she was not invited. She also said she was building a case against Lizzy. The actress described Lizzy as mentally ill.
Lizzy responded with more allegations against both mother and daughter. She claimed they would not succeed legally and said she had over 500 pieces of evidence against them.
The Feud Has Taken Several Turns Long Before Now
Meanwhile, the feud between Lizzy and Iyabo has also taken several turns. Iyabo previously demanded a public apology over alleged libellous publications. She threatened to seek N500 million in damages.
However, a Lagos court dismissed her N1 billion defamation suit against Lizzy in 2024. The actresses later traded more accusations online. Iyabo even challenged Lizzy to a boxing match and called on E-Money and Soso Soberekon to sponsor it.
Lizzy accepted the challenge but mocked Iyabo as a “certified failed actress with zero achievements.”
For now, Priscilla’s court victory adds another chapter to their long-running feud.
