Real Madrid topped Forbes’ latest football valuation rankings ahead of Barcelona and Manchester United.
Real Madrid CF have been named the most valuable football club in the world, according to Forbes’ latest annual rankings.
The Spanish giants were valued at $9.5 billion, rising significantly from last year’s figure. FC Barcelona moved into second place with a valuation of $7.5 billion, while Manchester United F.C. dropped to third at $7.2 billion.
Despite finishing 15th in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final, Manchester United still generated revenue of $865 million during the 2024-25 season.
The Premier League dominated the rankings with 11 clubs in the top 30, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
European champions Paris Saint-Germain F.C. climbed to fifth place, while FC Bayern Munich remained sixth in the global rankings.
Forbes said the average value of the top 30 football clubs increased by 21% compared to last year. This highlights the continued commercial growth of global football.
