She died at a police station– Temitope Osoba’s Fiancé Speaks On Actress’ Death At 40

Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba’s fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, has broken his silence on her death at 40. Onadeko claimed the actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State. His account differs from reports linking her death to breast cancer complications. The actress had battled breast cancer in the past and underwent surgery.

Speaking with Celestial Reality Check, Onadeko said he received a midnight call about Osoba’s death. He claimed an unidentified caller told him she had died at a police station.

“I didn’t know the exact station,” he said.

After hearing the news, he reported himself at a nearby police station. However, the exact circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.

Meanwhile, Onadeko denied several allegations about Osoba’s final days. He dismissed claims that she was poisoned, maltreated or stopped from accessing her car. He also rejected claims that donations for her cancer treatment were diverted. According to him, the money went into Osoba’s personal account. He insisted he never had access to the funds. Onadeko also said her previous cancer battle did not cause her death.

The prophet further revealed that Osoba struggled with smoking. He said he had encouraged her to quit the habit. According to him, the actress left his church about three weeks before her death. He added that he contacted only one of her uncles after learning about her passing. Osoba is expected to be buried on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

For now, Onadeko’s claims have not been independently verified. The cause and circumstances of Temitope Osoba’s death therefore remain uncertain.
