In a bold move to sanitize Nigeria’s digital space, the Federal Government has deactivated approximately 13,597,057 social media accounts across major platforms—TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter)—due to violations of the recently implemented Code of Practice 2024.
