Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at 27. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner recorded his death on Sunday, September 20. Gerber died at a rehabilitation facility, according to the records. However, officials have not disclosed his cause of death.
The family later confirmed Gerber’s death through their representative, Allie Jenkins. His family has asked the public to respect their privacy.
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” Jenkins said.
Gerber was Crawford and Rande’s only son. He was also the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber.
Presley Gerber entered modelling as a teenager after signing with IMG Models at 15. He later walked for major fashion brands, including Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana. He also featured in campaigns for Calvin Klein and other global brands. In 2018, he appeared alongside his mother in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial.
Beyond fashion, Gerber openly discussed his mental health and substance-use struggles. He also shared parts of his recovery journey online through his “Mental Health Mondays” series. His sister recently spoke about his long-running addiction battle and its impact on their family.
