Kunle Afod confirms Tope Osoba’s autopsy is complete as her family announces September 10 burial arrangements in Iperu Remo
Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has shared an update on the burial arrangements for late actress Temitope Osoba. The actress died on August 5, 2026, leaving fans and colleagues heartbroken. Afod thanked everyone who has shown concern since her death. He also confirmed that an autopsy has been completed on her body.
“To everybody that has been asking about Tope Osoba. First of all, I will say a big thank you to everybody for their concerns and support. They have done an autopsy on her body, and she will be laid to rest on September 10th,” he said in a video shared online.
Meanwhile, Tope Osoba’s family has released fresh details about her burial. According to the announcement, her body will leave Osuth Sagamu at 9am on September 10. The burial service will follow at 10am at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Market, Iperu, Remo. She will then be buried at Iperu Remo Cemetery. The family also announced a strict white dress code for mourners.
The actress’ death had sparked several controversies. Alesh Sanni said she did not die from cancer and urged people to respect her family’s grief. Foluke Daramola also said Tope did not die from breast cancer. She explained that the lump had already been removed. Her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, also made claims about her final moments. Yomi Fabiyi later called for the burial to be postponed. He said more investigation was needed.
Now, with the autopsy completed, Tope Osoba’s burial is set for September 10.
