Jude finally responds
Former P-Square manager Jude Okoye has finally reacted to the latest allegations made by his younger brother, Peter Okoye. His response came after Peter released the third part of his tell-all series on social media.
Peter claimed he discovered he was no longer a signatory to Northside Entertainment’s bank account while trying to obtain the company’s statement. He also questioned why his brothers would allegedly steal from him, describing the situation as “pure betrayal.”
However, Jude dismissed those claims in a video shared online. According to him, the issues Peter raised have already been investigated by the EFCC and are currently before the court. He added,
“You have been trying to bait me,” while accusing Peter of using social media to shape public opinion during an ongoing legal case.
Jude explains the royalty payments
Jude also denied claims that royalties were diverted. Instead, he said the payments followed Peter’s own instructions in 2016. He displayed what he described as an email from the digital distributor.
According to him, Peter requested that his own royalty share should be paid directly to him. Meanwhile, the remaining royalties belonging to Jude and Paul went into the Northside Entertainment account.
In addition, Jude rejected Peter’s claim that he was removed as a signatory to the company’s accounts. He presented what he called the official bank mandate and insisted Peter remained a signatory. He also challenged Peter’s claims about delayed access to the P-Square music catalogue and denied that Peter only recently started receiving royalties in dollars.
What happened in Parts Two and Three of Mr P’s Video Claims?
Peter’s latest video builds on claims from the earlier parts of his tell-all series. In Part Two, he revisited family disagreements and questioned how the group’s finances were handled over the years.
Part Three focused mainly on royalties, bank accounts and his alleged removal as a company signatory. Those fresh claims prompted Jude’s latest public response.
The case is still in court
This family dispute has lasted for months. In 2025, Jude faced EFCC charges over alleged financial offences before later regaining his freedom on bail. Since then, both sides have continued to exchange public statements.
Even so, Jude insists he will not discuss matters already before the court beyond correcting what he calls false narratives. The legal process will likely determine the final outcome.
