Trump says King Charles agrees Iran must not get nuclear weapons

Donald Trump said King Charles supports stopping Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons during a White House state dinner.

Donald Trump said the United States was “doing very well” in its conflict with Iran and claimed King Charles III agreed that Tehran must never gain a nuclear weapon.

Speaking during a formal dinner at the White House, Trump said the US had militarily defeated its opponent and vowed Iran would never be allowed to develop nuclear arms.

King Charles later delivered a lighter speech, praising Trump’s family ties to the United Kingdom and congratulating him on his second term in office.

The King also joked about White House renovations and made humorous references to British-American history, drawing laughter from guests.

Both leaders highlighted the long alliance between the United States and Britain, describing their nations as partners against tyranny and global threats.

The evening mixed diplomacy, humour and a clear message of continued US-UK unity.
