UI eCampus Announces 100% Online Postgraduate Programmes for 2026 Intake

The University of Ibadan, through its Postgraduate College, has announced fully online academic and professional postgraduate programmes for the 2026 intake.

The University Senate has approved the programmes for 100 per cent online delivery through UI eCampus. Applications will open soon. The initiative will give qualified candidates in Nigeria, across Africa and around the world access to postgraduate education without relocating or leaving their jobs.

According to UI eCampus, University of Ibadan faculty will teach all the programmes online. The university has also approved the programmes.

Flexible postgraduate education

The initiative will expand access to postgraduate education for working professionals and graduates seeking more flexible study options. Students can study from their current locations while keeping up with their careers and personal commitments. They can also pay their tuition in instalments, subject to each programme’s terms.

Professor Simisola O. Akintola, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, University of Ibadan, described the initiative as part of the institution’s efforts to widen access to postgraduate education.

“As part of the University of Ibadan’s strategic drive to expand access to quality postgraduate education, our collaboration with Astria Learning represents a significant milestone.”

Akintola said the partnership also shows the university’s commitment to new approaches in academic delivery.

“It affirms UI’s position as a leading institution embracing innovation in the delivery of academic programmes, while maintaining the standards for which we are known.”

She also welcomed applications from qualified candidates in Nigeria and other countries.
