Fresh violence has erupted as Israel and Hezbollah blame each other for violating the Lebanon ceasefire.
Israel said its military launched strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley on Monday.
The Israeli military accused Hezbollah of launching several drones at its forces in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah said the drone attacks were retaliation for Israeli ceasefire violations and the demolition of homes in Bint Jbeil.
The renewed fighting follows deadly Israeli strikes on Sunday that Lebanon’s Health Ministry said killed at least 14 people, including two children.
Israel also reported that one of its soldiers was killed in combat in Lebanon over the weekend.
Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hezbollah of undermining the truce, while Israeli authorities reviewed civilian security measures in the north.
The latest clashes raise fears that the fragile ceasefire could collapse completely.
