Sego Backs Damilola Marshal’s Political Ambition

The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Lagos State, Mustapha Adekunle, popularly known as Sego, has endorsed Damilola Ayinde Marshal for the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Damilola is the daughter of Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshall.

Endorsement Comes Ahead of APC Primaries

A video shared on Damilola’s Snapchat page showed her presenting branded caps to Sego during a political meeting. The gathering appeared linked to consultations ahead of the All Progressives Congress primaries.

Speaking in the clip, Sego urged party supporters to vote for her during the primary election.

He described her as the right candidate to represent Surulere Constituency II and called on residents to support her ambition.

Damilola Promises Youth Representation

Damilola recently announced her intention to contest for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the APC platform.

She said her professional experience has prepared her for leadership and public service. She also promised to represent young people and address issues affecting the constituency.

According to her, Surulere needs a new generation of leaders focused on development and inclusion.

Focus on Surulere Constituency II

Damilola said she stepped forward because she believes the constituency needs fresh ideas and stronger youth participation in governance.

She also pledged to become a strong voice for young people at the state assembly.

Move to Replace Current Lawmaker

If successful, Damilola is expected to replace Mosunmola Rotimi Sangodara, the current representative of Surulere Constituency II under the APC.
