Inter Milan capped a dominant season by defeating Lazio 2-0 in the Coppa Italia final.
Inter Milan won the 2026 Coppa Italia after beating Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night.
The victory secured Inter’s domestic double after already clinching the Serie A title earlier this season.
Inter took the lead in the 14th minute when Lazio defender Adam Marusic accidentally headed the ball into his own net from a corner kick. The Milan side doubled its advantage before half-time after Marcus Thuram set up captain Lautaro Martinez for a simple finish.
Lazio created a few chances in the second half but failed to break down Inter’s organised defence. Inter remained in control throughout the match and comfortably saw out the victory.
The trophy marks Inter’s 10th Coppa Italia title and their first since 2023, completing another successful campaign for the Italian champions.
