MC Fish has finally addressed the cheating allegations that trailed his failed marriage to Nollywood actress Anita Joseph. Speaking in a teaser for an interview on Echo Room, the media personality defended himself, saying, “I am not the first man to cheat.” Despite their separation, he insisted there is no hostility between them. He also admitted the breakup hurt because they shared over five years of marriage.
The hype man explained that he and Anita have both moved on with their lives. He said, “There is no enmity between us. I was married for five years and have been with that woman for two years.” His comments have since sparked fresh reactions online, with many debating his stance on infidelity and relationships.
Earlier, MC Fish had claimed that both he and Anita were unfaithful during their marriage. According to him, the actress also cheated with different men, although he refused to mention names. Anita, however, confirmed their split last December, describing it as a painful season filled with reflection, healing, and faith. Reports also alleged that the marriage was rocked by pregnancy losses and domestic violence.
Meanwhile, MC Fish has continued to defend himself against criticism. After introducing his new girlfriend earlier this year, he argued that society judges men differently after a breakup. He also maintained that honesty remains the biggest lesson from his failed marriage, adding that he has no regrets about getting married at the age of 27.
