Angela Okorie Blasts Zubby Michael Over Alleged Queen of Guns Movie Title Copy

Angela Okorie blasts Zubby Michael over the alleged use of her Queen of Guns movie title. The actress says she trademarked the project after investing nearly ₦100 million.

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has publicly called out fellow actor Zubby Michael over the alleged use of the title of her upcoming movie, Queen of Guns. The actress made the accusation in a viral video that has sparked reactions online.

According to her, recent promotional photos from her unreleased movie were allegedly used to create a new poster for an old film uploaded on YouTube with the same title.

Speaking in the video, Angela accused some people in the movie industry of copying her ideas and style. She said,

“If you look at my pictures and look at my videos, you see, I don’t even like to mingle with some people in the industry. Because they are all… a useless set of people who have never carved a niche for themselves. They live their life on copycat.” She also declared, “I’m still the number one, the champion, the only Queen of Guns.”

The actress explained that Queen of Guns has not been released on YouTube, Netflix, cinemas, or any streaming platform. She revealed that fans in Manchester would be the first to watch the movie before it moves to other cities.

Angela also claimed she invested almost ₦100 million in the project and said the title has already been trademarked. According to her, the alleged title duplication forced her to protect the name legally.

Angela did not stop there. She directly questioned Zubby Michael, saying,

“Zubby even you accepted that kind of a thing. How dare you? You shot a movie. You have a working title my friend. Why did you not use your working title?”

She also added,

“That movie is what I shot with almost 100 million naira. And mine is trademarked.”

Her claims have continued to generate conversations online, although Zubby Michael has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of writing.
