Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has opened up about a recent pregnancy loss. The actress revealed that she lost the pregnancy at four months while she was still filming.
Abraham shared the painful experience at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos on Saturday. She also spoke about the support she received from Pastor Bolaji Idowu during the difficult period.
“I was four month pregnant, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” Abraham said.
The actress explained that she struggled to tell her parents about the loss. She especially worried about how her mother would react.
“I didn’t want to call my parents; you know how it is that you don’t want to… my parents, my mom is old, and I didn’t want to call my mom,” she said.
Abraham eventually told her husband, Kola Ajeyemi, about the pregnancy loss. However, he was far away at the time. She then called Pastor Bolaji Idowu for support. According to Abraham, the pastor immediately started praying for her and asked where she was.
“I’m on my way to the hospital,” she told him.
She also explained that doctors planned to carry out an evacuation procedure.The actress further revealed that Pastor Bolaji later sent her millions of naira to help with the medical procedure.
“And Pastor Bolaji sent me millions,” she said, while thanking him for standing by her.
Abraham had also spoken about a pregnancy loss in 2022 during an interview with Channels Television. At the time, she said she cried heavily because she hoped to have one or two more children.
