Author Toni Tone has shared her unique approach to deciding how many children she will have with her husband. According to the author, her husband wants five kids. However, she says the final number will depend on his behaviour at home.
Toni explained that having more children will be a reward for good parenting and a healthy marriage. She said her husband must show that he can be a great partner and father before they welcome another child.
“My husband wants five kids, and I told him, we’ve made a deal,” she said.
She added,
“The amount of children you have is going to correspond to your behaviour as a husband and father.”
Toni said that if he does well after their first child, he can earn another.
“So if you have one and you are like father of the year, I’ll give you a second,” she explained.
Toni also shared what happens if his performance starts to drop.
“If you have two and I feel like I am queen of the world based on how you treat me and the kids, you have three,” she said.
However, she plans to stop having more children once she notices a decline in his behaviour.
“I said, I’m going to cap you when your form starts slipping,” Toni stated.
Her comments have sparked conversations about parenting, marriage and the importance of shared responsibility at home.
