The billionaire entrepreneur is facing growing scrutiny after a series of courtroom defeats and settlements.
Elon Musk has suffered another legal defeat after losing his high-profile lawsuit against OpenAI and co-founder Sam Altman.
The latest ruling adds to a difficult period for Musk in court. In recent months, he has settled disputes with former Twitter executives and ex-employees of X, lost a lawsuit involving Twitter investors, and seen another case against advertisers dismissed by a judge.
Musk also faced setbacks linked to DOGE, the government cost-cutting department he previously helped lead. A judge ruled that some actions taken by the agency were unconstitutional.
Despite the growing list of legal losses, experts say Musk is unlikely to stop pursuing aggressive legal battles. Law professors quoted in the report said Musk’s vast wealth and high-risk approach make him different from most corporate leaders.
Following the OpenAI ruling, Musk criticised the judge on X and confirmed he plans to appeal the decision.
The case continues to fuel tensions between Musk and Altman as competition in the artificial intelligence industry intensifies.
