Florentino Pérez has secured another term as Real Madrid president following an overwhelming election win.
Florentino Pérez will continue as president of Real Madrid after winning the club’s presidential election by a wide margin. The veteran football executive retained control of the Spanish giants despite facing a challenge from businessman Enrique Riquelme.
Pérez’s campaign focused on protecting the club’s ownership model while promoting plans for future growth. During the election period, he also confirmed key football decisions, including the appointment of coach José Mourinho and the signings of Denzel Dumfries and Ibrahima Konaté.
The result extends Pérez’s long reign at Real Madrid, where he has overseen some of the club’s most successful years, despite recent challenges involving the European Super League project and the Santiago Bernabéu redevelopment.
With another mandate secured, Pérez is set to lead Real Madrid into its next chapter both on and off the pitch.
